Christmas 2013

What a strange season it is this year. My mom is 89 and has had health problems over the past many years. This fall she was struggling with a combination of physical problems and emotional problems as well. She went into a psych facility to hopefully get her meds on track.  It worked and she came home a week later a new woman. It was great to see her happy and feeling good. Soon after though she went downhill and went back into the hospital. We brought her home end of last week and transitioned to hospice care. Liz and kiddos came out which was wonderful. Now we are trying to keep her comfortable. She's resting now next to me. Becca is expecting and I hope and pray for her safety. Dougie Allison Sarah and Adam have all been sick. Such an odd and sad time really. I feel pretty awful these days.
