July 3, 2013 backpacking in eagle nest wilderness again

We've had such fun. Plenty of room in the tent for all four of us. As usual it's a lazy dog afternoon...morning. 

Later on the evening of the fourth, Doug and I have arrived back at the condo from our backpacking trip. Well, we are sort of back. Doug's boots fell apart. The soles came right off.

He now has new boots, we have much more food, and are heading back out in the morning.

 Tonight we went to the symphony here in Breck. It was wonderful. The composer of one of the symphonies attended and introduced his piece which was inspired by Georgia o'keefe paintings completed while she was young and teaching math and art at a college in Texas.
